 Education

At High Point Family Dentistry, our number one priority to our pediatric patients (and their parents) is education! Great oral health begins at home and even before your child arrives. The ADA recommends finding a dental home by age one to start promoting healthy dietary and at home hygiene with your children. We look forward to being a part of your child’s dental health!

A Bright Smile

As soon as teeth appear, they can decay! It is important for you to wipe or brush your baby or child’s teeth and gums twice a day until they can brush independently. Starting healthy habits early can prevent costly and painful dental care. Your oral health is important too! Did you know our mouths can harbor over 700 types of bacteria and that they can be transferred to your child’s mouth in your daily interactions? Brushing and flossing twice a day at home, drinking plenty of water, and seeing your dentist and hygienist for routine cleanings can all be easy steps to take care of you and your children’s dental health.
